‘The Naked Gun' is heading back to the big screen but this time it'll have Liam Neeson in the lead role.
The new film, the first in the franchise since 1994's ‘The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult', will see Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the character Leslie Nielsen played in the original series and films. Watch the teaser trailer below:
Alongside Neeson the film also stars Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy and Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston.

Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father's footsteps in ‘The Naked Gun', directed by Akiva Schaffer (‘Saturday Night Live', ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping') and from producer Seth MacFarlane (‘Ted', ‘Family Guy').
The film's executive producers are Daniel M. Stillman, Akiva Schaffer, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro and Andrew Lary. Alongside MacFarlane the film is produced by Erica Huggins, p.g.a. ‘The Naked Gun' is written by Dan Gregor & Doug Mand & Akiva Schaffer.

‘The Naked Gun' will be released in cinemas on 8th August 2025.
