A brand new trailer and poster has been released for the upcoming ‘The Naked Gun' reboot.
With Liam Neeson taking on the role of Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the original franchise's lead who was played by Leslie Nielsen, and Pamela Anderson by his side, the film looks like it's going to be a hoot. Watch the new trailer below:
Only one man has the particular set of skills…to lead Police Squad and save the world!
Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father's footsteps in ‘The Naked Gun', directed by Akiva Schaffer (‘Saturday Night Live', ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping') and from producer Seth MacFarlane (‘Ted', ‘Family Guy').
The trailer suggests that the new film will do its best to match the slapstick comedy of the original franchise. With Neeson in a series of random situations, and Anderson proving she's got comic chops of her own, we predict this might be one of the surprises of the summer.
Joining the case are cast Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston. Alongside the new trailer, there's also a new poster featuring Neeson and Anderson, which you can see below:

‘The Naked Gun' is released in cinemas on 1st August 2025.
