The tease trailer has been released for director Pablo Larraín's new film ‘Maria'.
Written by Steven Knight, the film stars Angelina Jolie, Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee. it is a biopic of iconic opera singer Maria Callas. Watch the teaser below:
‘Maria' will tell the tumultuous, beautiful, and tragic story of the life of the world’s greatest female opera singer, relived, and reimagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.
Jolie takes on the role of Maria Callas. ‘Maria' had its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on 29th August 2024, where it competed for the Golden Lion.
STUDIOCANAL presents ‘Maria' in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 10th January 2025.
