We’ve only got a few more days left of our Christmas Movies A to Z but fear not, we’ve still got some fantastic movies for you!
Today we reach the letter T and that takes us back to 1983 for the classic comedy Trading Places. Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy (both 80s legends) teamed up for the John Landis directed classic.
Businessman Louis Winthorpe (Aykroyd) and street hustler Billy Ray Valentine (Murphy) find themselves swapping lives when Winthorpe’s bosses make a wager to see if a person’s environment or their hereditary determines the life they go on to lead.
They cook up a scheme to get Winthorpe arrested and to hire Valentine in his place. Winthorpe is stitched up and only has a prostitute who can clear his name.
If you want to laugh this Christmas then this is definitely a film you should put on your watch list.
Come back tomorrow to find out what our choice for U is…
