The Walking Dead 9x02 The Bridge preview

The season 9 premiere of The Walking Dead was set 18 months after the events of last season.

If you’re not up to date with The Walking Dead and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the survivors have been busy rebuilding but now find themselves rather splintered across the various communities.

While it's a time of relative peace, there's a lot of tension building. Maggie (Lauren Cohan) wants to lead, Daryl (Norman Reedus) isn't happy and there seems to be an element of the Saviours who still prefer Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). He's currently biding his time under lock and key while he waits for another opportunity to take control.

The next episode is The Bridge. The communities join forces to restore a bridge that will facilitate communication and trade. Someone is gravely injured at the construction site.
