Actress and activist Rose McGowan is getting her own documentary series Citizen Rose, which will air on hayu and E on Wednesday 31st January.
The five-part documentary kicks off with a two-hour episode, comes in the wake of McGowan speaking out about sexual harassment she has experienced in the entertainment industry. Citizen Rose will follow McGowan as she prepares to launch her book Brave.
McGowan has been instrumental in the movement currently taking place in Hollywood that has seen famous women band together to fight against sexual harassment, pay inequality and other injustices they face.

As I ready my book, Brave, I realized I wanted to show how we can heal through art even when being hounded by evil,ā said McGowan. “I want to have a conversation with everyone, and most especially, you about looking at things differently and seeing beauty everywhere. Citizen Rose is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions with Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein, Farnaz Farjam Chazan and Andrea Metz serving as Executive Producers. McGowan also serves as Executive Producer.

The two-hour documentary Citizen Rose will be available to stream on hayu from Wednesday 31st January and premieres same day at 9pm on E! The next four episodes will air in the Spring.
