Chris Lane is teaming up with Tori Kelly for his new single Take Back Home Girl.
When we spoke with Lane recently he teased that new music was imminent and he wasn’t telling us lies! Take Back Home Girl is the first single to be lifted from Lane’s forthcoming second studio album.
Lane and Kelly broke the news in an exclusive on ETOnline.com, which you can watch below:
The above video player features a small clip from the track, which will be released digitally tomorrow (Friday 29th September 2017).
“I’ve been a big fan of Tori’s for quite some time and I had this song that I was looking for a duet with,” Lane told ET. “They asked me, ‘Who’s your dream collaboration partner?’ and she was the first person I said.ā
Take Back Home Girl is written by Hillary Lindsey, Josh Miller, and David Garcia. The song is a slow-burning tribute to meeting that special girl and showing her around your hometown.
Since topping the charts with Fix, Lane has been building a solid fanbase and hitting plenty of milestones. Fix and his current single For Her have both been certified Gold, he’s had over 37 million Spotify streams of Fix and he’s on the road supporting Florida Georgia Line on their huge The Smooth Tour with Nelly.
Lane recently released an all-acoustic version of his debut album Girl Problems and announced his very first headline US tour.
