Texas will release their new album Jump On Board on 21st April via BMG.
The first single from the album is Let's Work It Out, which is an upbeat dancefloor number. The video for the track features footballer Thierry Henry.
Jump On Board was written and produced by Texas' Johnny McElhone and Sharleen Spiteri, in London and Glasgow, and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence & The Machine, Noel Gallagher).
“When music’s in your DNA, what’s gone in will come back out,” Sharleen Spiteri says. “’Jump On Board’ has references of course, but it’s an up-front, modern-sounding record.”
Jump On Board is the follow-up to Texas' 2013 album The Conversation.
“We feel refreshed,” Sharleen admits. “We definitely had a great time making this record. It’s time to jig it all up. It’s like a new beginning. This is the next part of our story, and we’re loving it.”
