Hunter Hayes announces new album ‘Evergreen’

Hunter Hayes has officially launched a new chapter, announcing his upcoming album ‘Evergreen' — due March 6, 2026 — along with an extensive headlining run, The Evergreen Tour. The 5x Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling multi-instrumentalist will kick off the tour on March 25 in Hopewell, Virginia, with BLÜ EYES and Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines joining as special guests on select dates. Pre-save the new album right here.

Evergreen marks a bold, genre-blending step forward for Hayes, weaving together pop, country, R&B and indie rock influences while diving into themes of growth, joy and human connection. Recorded with Alex Flagstad, the project reveals Hayes at his most creatively expansive, offering buoyant optimism on songs like Around the Sun, the tender vulnerability of Every Piece, and the simmering tension of Wait. Each track highlights the emotional richness and musical daring that have defined Hayes’ evolution as an artist.

Hayes describes Evergreen as a project born from imagination and intention. “Evergreen started as a series of letters from my future self,” he explains. “In some ways a prayer, and in some ways manifestation. I wanted to make a project from the future. It’s full of hope, optimism, light and love. It’s an escape from reality as well as a new way to appreciate the good things in our everyday life.”

Across the album, Hayes explores self-discovery, renewal, and compassion, reshaping ideas of love, worthiness, and strength. Guided by his personal motto, “Be good to yourself and the world around you,” Evergreen presents some of his most heartfelt and introspective songwriting to date — a cinematic, deeply resonant reflection on becoming.
