Hunter Hayes will release a three-track EP ‘Lost & Found', which features remixed, remastered and reimagined versions of songs previously released.
The first track ‘In a Song', will be available on 20th September 2024, and fans can look forward to new versions of “Still Fallin'” and ‘Somebody's Heartbreak' in due course.
Of the EP, Hayes shares, “Talking about being an independent artist has been liberating, empowering and inspiring. I didn’t want it to be about business, I wanted it to be about ownership of one’s life, story and narrative. That is something I have been learning a lot about in the past 10 years. These are songs that carry important messages for me and it’s a chance for me to go back to the garden and check on things that I planted over ten years ago so I can see how they are doing now.”

The first release from the project, ‘In A Song', expresses the pain of a broken relationship and the journey of healing. Hayes, who has always found comfort and strength in music, illustrates that through the ups and downs, you can find your way back to yourself and eventually discover where you truly belong. It’s about embracing goodbye, learning from the past, and finding solace in the melodies that help you navigate through life's challenges.
The project is announced on Hayes' birthday and it's a celebration of his musical journey so far. It's a chance for Hayes to revisit his roots before he embarks on his next project.
Sticking to the songs’ original DNA and playing every instrument on the tracks, Hayes reimagines how they have grown with time and paints a compelling narrative of transformation.
