“Long Live Christmas” marks the first new original release from Dan + Shay since their 2024 holiday collection, ‘It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album.' That ambitious project featured 21 tracks — ten timeless holiday standards and eleven new originals penned or co-penned by the duo, including three written solely by Smyers.
The double album quickly became a seasonal staple, boasting RIAA Gold-certified hits ‘Take Me Home For Christmas' and ‘Pick Out A Christmas Tree.' Other standout tracks such as ‘Officially Christmas' and ‘Holiday Party' have amassed over 68 million and 39 million global streams respectively, with total streams from the project now exceeding 521 million worldwide.
