Georgia-born country powerhouse Erin Kirby has released her debut EP, ‘In and Out of Love,' now available on all streaming platforms. Known for her soulful voice and emotional storytelling, Kirby describes her sound as “Adele Country” — a blend of heartfelt lyricism and powerhouse vocals that set her apart as one of Nashville’s most exciting rising artists.
The five-track collection takes listeners through the highs and lows of a relationship, from the first spark of love to the moment of heartbreak and acceptance that follows. With its stripped-back production and raw vulnerability, ‘In and Out of Love' captures Kirby’s evolution as both a songwriter and performer. “Get ready to feel all the emotions with this EP,” she said. “It follows the story of a relationship that started out hopeful, grew toxic and then ended with no regrets. Each song was written from the heart. This project has been years in the making, and I’m so excited for it to finally be out.”
Co-written by Kirby alongside Aaron Armstrong, Sydney Cubit, Mitch Crego, Ryan Kohn, Davis Loose, Andrew Beason, Joe Clemmons and Gabe Foust, and produced by Aaron Eshuis and Ryan Kohn, the EP blends cinematic emotion with country soul. Standout moments include the rush of ‘I Think I’m in Love Again' and the haunting ‘Regretting You,' both of which highlight Kirby’s ability to translate real emotion into unforgettable melodies.
A former pop and R&B artist, Kirby first found national attention on Lifetime’s Kim of Queens before appearing on Showtime at the Apollo and American Idol. She has since performed at the Grand Ole Opry, SXSW, and shared stages with Kellie Pickler, Lonestar and Colt Ford. Now signed to an exclusive publishing deal with Concord, Kirby’s latest work cements her as one of country music’s most promising new storytellers.
