Dierks Bentley releases intriguing live ‘The Sessions’ EP

Dierks Bentley has released ‘The Sessions,' a four-song live collection that captures the country star’s signature blend of musicianship, collaboration and storytelling.

The set opens with Bentley teaming up with Jordan Davis for a high-energy version of his hit ‘What Was I Thinkin’, followed by a heartfelt, pedal-steel infused cover of Keith Whitley’s ‘I’m No Stranger to the Rain.' Bentley also delivers ‘Heartbreak Drinking Tour,' a vivid showcase of his narrative style, before closing with a stirring rendition of Bill Monroe’s ‘Get Down On Your Knees and Pray' featuring rising duo The Band Loula. Recorded live during his Broken Branches Tour this summer, the performance has already drawn acclaim for its raw spirit and emotional depth.

The new release arrives just months after Bentley’s eleventh studio album ‘Broken Branches' which came out in June to widespread critical praise. The project features collaborations with John Anderson, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, and Stephen Wilson Jr. and has been lauded for its daring sound and honest storytelling.

With more than two decades in country music, Bentley’s career includes eight Number One albums, 22 chart-topping singles, over 9.5 billion global streams, and 15 Grammy nominations, alongside his membership in the Grand Ole Opry. Beyond music, Bentley launched the Broken Branches Fund earlier this year in partnership with Music Health Alliance to provide mental health support for music industry professionals, while continuing to grow his Whiskey Row venues, Desert Son lifestyle brand and Kentucky bourbon label ROW 94.
