Dierks Bentley is giving fans even more from his acclaimed 11th studio album with the release of ‘Broken Branches Extended,' arriving this Friday, October 3. The expanded edition adds two brand new tracks—'IYKYK,' a rowdy mandolin-driven anthem, and ‘All Night to Figure It Out,' a dobro-soaked slow-burner—alongside the original collection that has been praised for its heartfelt storytelling and bold artistry.
‘IYKYK' bursts to life with a foot-stomping energy, complete with Charlie Worsham’s mandolin riff driving Bentley’s unapologetic ode to country living. By contrast, ‘All Night to Figure It Out' offers a more intimate groove, mixing stomp-and-clap percussion with Bentley’s laid-back delivery in a song that leans into the spark of romantic possibility. Both tracks expand on the themes of resilience, connection, and living life authentically that underpin the original 11 songs from ‘Broken Branches.'
Released in June, the album drew praise for linking country’s roots to its present with a distinctive, daring sound, and features collaborations with John Anderson, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, and Stephen Wilson Jr. In our review we noted that ‘Broken Branches' exudes “charm, heart, [and] warmth” while showcasing Bentley’s continued evolution as both a songwriter and performer.
