Having taken time reflecting on the release, Ronan said “Thank you to everyone and anyone who ever believed in me and supported me along the way. Who purchased this or any other album; who turned up to one of my gigs; or who lined up outside a tv studio or concert for an autograph. To those in the press who wrote kind things; or to the people who defended me when the haters had a go. To those who showed loyalty and honour, even when it would have been easier to turn a blind eye, or to the friends who were there in the darkest days and not just the ones where they could capitalise on the golden ones. To the people who simply enjoyed my music on a dance floor and spread the love; and those who played my songs at a treasured moment. All of you brought me here and kept me here and allowed me to enjoy a career that has spanned three decades. I dedicate this re-release to all of you.”
On Saturday 6 September he will be performing at BBC Radio 2’s In The Park that will see him be part of a star studded line up including Jessie J, Stereophonics, Ella Henderson and headliner Bryan Adams. The show sold out almost immediately, for more information please go here.
