Tyler Booth releases new EP ‘Downtown’

Tyler Booth has released his new EP ‘Downtown', which is available on digital streaming platforms now.

Co-produced by Booth with John Johnson and Steve Blackmon, all six tracks find Booth following in the sonic footsteps of greats (and fellow Kentucky natives) like Keith Whitley, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers. The EP builds on his recent singles “Talkin' White Trash” and ‘Sunshine'.

Booth crafts an intimate collection that blends classic country, bluegrass, and Southern rock. With stripped-back production, the EP features two solo guitar-vocal tracks alongside mandolin-driven melodies that spotlight his Appalachian roots.

“For me, telling a story that fans can relate to and connect with is paramount to country music,” said Booth. “The Downtown EP is full of stories backed by a sound that, I feel like, is so characteristic of where I was raised and the life I’ve lived in Kentucky.”

The track listing for the ‘Downtown' EP is:

1. “Talkin’ White Trash” (Tyler Booth, Terry Lee Palmer)

2. “Bluegrass On My Mind” (Tyler Booth)

3. “Hummin’ Song” (Tyler Booth)

4. “Sunshine” (Tyler Booth)

5. “Freeborn Man” (Keith Allison, Mark Lindsay)

6. “Home Up Yonder” (Tyler Booth)

The EP is co-produced by John Johnson, Steve Blackmon and Tyler Booth.
