The trailer and official poster have been released for ‘Project Hail Mary', the new film from directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
The film is based on the novel by Andy Weir and features a screenplay from Drew Goddard. It stars Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung and Milana Vayntrub.
Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Ryan Gosling, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Aditya Sood, Rachel O’Connor and Andy Weir. The executive producers are Patricia Whitcher, Drew Goddard, Sarah Esberg, Lucy Kitada, Nikki Baida and Ken Kao.
