Kenny Chesney wraps up his Sphere shows in Las Vegas with surprise announcement

After an unprecedented 15-night residency at Sphere Las Vegas, Kenny Chesney wrapped up his performance of ‘Don’t Happen Twice' in true No Shoes Nation fashion—spending several minutes jamming with just a high-hat and Nick Buda’s drumming before breaking into an impromptu tease of ‘Out Last Night.' The show culminated in a stunning reveal: Chesney announced his return to the Sphere next summer with projected logos reading #IGoBack26 and #Summertime26 lighting up the stage.

Across the residency, Chesney offered fans far more than scripted setlists. Collaborations with Mac McAnally produced surprise performances of ‘Down the Road,' ‘Come Monday' and a heartfelt acoustic version of ‘Old Blue Chair.'

Speaking to the freewheeling nature of the shows, Chesney said he relished the flexibility and spontaneity—admitting that even after weeks under the Sphere’s lights, he was “not ready to leave the stage.” He praised McAnally’s warm, storytelling presence, saying these intimate moments highlighted the heart at the centre of his high-energy production. With the next chapter already announced, Chesney and his Paradise co-travellers are set to reconvene for another summer of ‘another dimension' under the Sphere dome.
