With more than half the show being reimagined, additional songs added that don’t always fit into stadium sets, and new surprises planned, Chesney felt the only option was to come back bigger. Locking in Fourth of July weekend as part of the run turned the residency into something closer to a summer vacation—only without the beach traffic.
