Rising country-folk duo Crowe Boys, made up of New Orleans-based brothers Ocie and Wes Crowe, have officially released their debut album ‘Made To Wander' via EMI Records Nashville. Alongside the 10-track project comes the release of the cinematic music video for ‘Debris,' the final chapter in a three-part visual series that also includes previous singles ‘Bootstraps' and ‘Bonfire In My Soul.'
To celebrate the release, Crowe Boys are wrapped up their first appearance at CMA Fest with a Meet & Greet and performance on the MCA Skydeck stage on Friday. On June 10, the duo will reach another major milestone, taking the stage for their Grand Ole Opry debut before heading out on tour with Jonah Kagen. Their international Roaming Europe tour kicks off in August, followed by a string of sold-out shows with Sam Barber in November.
Rooted in a lifelong bond and years of shared experience, the Crowe brothers' journey into music began in their childhood, traveling through the American South in an RV with their family gospel band. After the passing of their mother and the band’s dissolution, the brothers eventually settled in New Orleans and began shaping their own artistic voice. While Ocie leaned on formal lessons and family tradition, Wes developed his skills by mimicking online performances. Together, they forged a sound influenced by Journey, Switchfoot and folk favourites like Gregory Alan Isakov, Noah Kahan and Caamp.
Their breakthrough came when a stripped-down live video of ‘Where Did I Go Wrong' went viral, drawing millions of views and widespread attention for its heartfelt lyrics and raw performance. The momentum caught the eye of Universal Music Group Nashville and led to the release of their debut single ‘Bootstraps,' setting the stage for a fast-growing fanbase.
Produced in collaboration with Andrew Campanelli of The Revivalists, ‘Made To Wander' showcases the Crowe Boys’ blend of emotional storytelling, tight harmonies, and organic instrumentation. The album builds on their gospel roots and modern folk influences, offering an authentic and powerful debut that captures their journey and their heart.
With new music, a compelling visual narrative and a packed touring schedule, Crowe Boys are quickly establishing themselves as one of country and folk’s most promising new acts.
