Ira Dean has released his new single ‘Wreck Me', which features Jeffrey Steele.
The song blends rock and Country, and it was co-written by Dean, David Lee Murphy, and Justin Weaver. With a classic Tom Petty-inspired groove, the track features Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Ferrone on drums.
Jeffrey Steele and David Lee Murphy provide backing vocals, bringing dynamic harmonies to the track. Steele’s soulful ad-lib outro providing an unforgettable finishing touch. A true labor of love, ‘Wreck Me' is as much a celebration of music as it is a testament to the magic of collaboration.
‘Wreck Me' is the fourth taster from Dean's forthcoming album ‘I Got Roads', which is due for release in 2025. The song follows previous releases ‘Tele-Man' with Ronnie Dunn featuring Vince Gill, John Osborne and Brent Mason, ‘1 to Hank' with Uncle Kracker and “Missin' How It Used To Be”.
We caught up with Dean earlier in the year to talk about his new music and find out about his forthcoming album.
