Walter Presents is bringing ‘Judge Marianne' to C4 Streaming late November it has been confirmed.
Created by Laurent Mondy, the series stars Marilou Berry, Alexandre Steiger, Stéphane Pezerat and Drimi Gouttebal.
In each episode, Marianne Vauban (Marilou Berry), an outspoken magistrate, solves complex cases with her unique methods, humanity, and a team comprising Captain Pastor and clerk Yves, across some surprising settings.
Episode one, finds restaurant owner Jimmy hung high and dressed in his cowboy gear in his saloon restaurant in Toulon. It doesn't take much for Marianne and Pastor to figure out that they're dealing with a murder disguised as suicide. Everyone seemed to dote on Jimmy and yet several people are on the list of suspects: Agnès, his mistress, Efia, a young waitress who had recently been fired, and Cédric, aka Buffalo Will, a demanding country dancing teacher and founder of the prestigious Buffalo Will Academy!
The first series of the show features six episodes. ‘Judge Marianne' has also filmed a second series, and we'll bring you more details on that when we have them.
Walter Presents: ‘Judge Marianne' will be released as a full boxset on C4 Streaming on 22nd November 2024.
