Three-time GRAMMY Award winner and country music sensation Darius Rucker is set to return to the UK for a major arena tour in September and October 2025. The tour kicks off in Belfast at The SSE Arena on September 29 and will take Rucker to Glasgow, Birmingham, and Manchester, concluding with a finale at London’s iconic O2 Arena. Joining Rucker on this tour are special guests Jake Owen and UK country favourites The Shires.
Reflecting on his recent European tour, Rucker shared his excitement: “Playing theatres across Europe earlier this year was an unforgettable experience—the energy and love from the fans was just incredible, and it was one of my favorite tours EVER,” he said. “I’m excited to head back to the UK next year, this time in some of the biggest arenas. We worked so hard to make this happen and cannot wait to be back!”
This announcement comes on the heels of Rucker’s recent album release, ‘Carolyn’s Boy,' and his new memoir, ‘Life’s Too Short,' which tells the story of his remarkable life through the music that has shaped him—from Al Green and Stevie Wonder to Billy Joel and Nanci Griffith.
Rucker first rose to fame as the frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish, whose debut album Cracked Rear View sold over 25 million copies worldwide and remains one of the top 10 best-selling studio albums of all time. Transitioning to country music in 2008, Rucker quickly found success with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard Country chart and ten No. 1 singles at Country radio, making him a beloved figure in both pop and country music.
Rucker’s enduring impact on the country scene was cemented in 2014 with his third GRAMMY Award win for Best Solo Country Performance with his Diamond-certified hit, “Wagon Wheel.” His latest album, Carolyn’s Boy, featuring his single “Never Been Over” with Jennifer Nettles, is available now, as is his memoir, Life’s Too Short, which explores the songs and influences that have shaped his life and career.
A dedicated philanthropist, Rucker has raised over $4.3 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and continues to support over 200 charitable causes. He’s also a passionate advocate for public education and junior golf programs through the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation and serves as National Chair for Nashville’s National Museum of African American Music.
Tickets for Darius Rucker’s UK arena tour go on sale on Friday, November 1, at 9:30 am via Gigandtours.com, Ticketmaster.co.uk, and AXS.com. Tickets for Belfast will be available through Ticketmaster.ie.
