CBS is set to bring in 2025 with a bang as New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash returns, headlined and co-hosted by four-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Keith Urban. The star-studded event will air live from Nashville’s Bicentennial Mall on Tuesday, December 31, featuring high-energy performances from some of country music’s biggest names.
Joining Urban on the main stage are country superstars Kane Brown and Jelly Roll, delivering live performances to kick off the celebrations. Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith will also return as co-host for the highly anticipated night of music and festivities.
The five-hour special will be broadcast on CBS from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT, with a break before continuing from 10:30 PM-1:30 AM ET/PT. Fans can also stream the event live on Paramount+ (for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers) or catch it on-demand the following day for Paramount+ Essential subscribers.
The night will feature performances from a lineup of country music's hottest artists, culminating in the traditional midnight countdown, where the iconic Nashville Music Note Drop will light up the sky, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display.
New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash is produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in collaboration with Music City Inc., and directed by Sandra Restrepo. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks. For updates and further details, follow CBS on social media or visit Paramount Press Express.
