The Tape Room Music team celebrates another #1 with Nate Smith’s ‘Bulletproof’

Tape Room Music is celebrating another milestone as their co-written song ‘Bulletproof' has reached the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week. The track, written by Tape Room songwriters Hunter Phelps, Ben Johnson, and founder Ashley Gorley, marks the third chart-topping single the trio has penned together. This achievement follows the success of ‘New Truck' by Dylan Scott and ‘TRUCK BED' by HARDY, both of which also reached No. 1.

Blain Rhodes, president of Tape Room Music, expressed his excitement about the accomplishment. “Number one songs are always fun to celebrate, but this one is extra special, being written entirely within the Tape Room family,” Rhodes shared. He also praised Nate Smith for his performance of ‘Bulletproof,' noting how the artist elevated the song to new heights and continues to captivate audiences with it on stage.

Tape Room Music, an independent music publishing company founded by hit songwriter Ashley Gorley, has a long history of success. Since its inception in 2011, the company has celebrated over 46 No. 1 songs. The company has earned recognition with nominations for GRAMMYs, ACMs, CMAs, and MusicRow Awards, as well as wins for ASCAP and NSAI Writer of the Year.

Other notable successes include Nate Smith's 10-week No. 1 hit ‘World On Fire,' Morgan Wallen's six-week chart-topper ‘Thinkin' Bout Me,' and the Post Malone and Wallen collaboration ‘I Had Some Help.'

Tape Room Music continues to push the boundaries of country music, with its writers excelling in songwriting, producing, and performing.
