TC Restaurant Group is set to unveil its latest project, a unique six-story venue in collaboration with country music superstar Morgan Wallen. Named “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen,” the bar, restaurant, and live music venue will open its doors on Saturday, June 1, at 11 am. Located in the heart of Nashville’s iconic Lower Broadway district, the venue sits adjacent to the front entrance of the famed Ryman Auditorium.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our first guests on Saturday, June 1, to This Bar leading into CMA Fest,” said Grant Burlingame, vice president of operations at TC Restaurant Group. “This venue has been a labor of love for us and Morgan. His fans and music lovers alike will love the experiences they will find at This Bar. We’re proud to open its doors.”
A Unique Experience
“This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” offers a unique blend of dining, drinking, and live music spread across its expansive 30,000 square feet. The venue features three live music stages, six bars, and an open-air rooftop, providing an unparalleled entertainment experience. Each level of the venue is designed to reflect elements from Wallen’s life and career, showcasing photos and memorabilia from his childhood and notable performances.
Southern-Inspired Menu
Curated by Wallen himself alongside Chef Tomasz Wosiak, Vice President of Culinary Development for TC Restaurant Group, the menu features a variety of southern delicacies, bar bites, and Tennessee favorites. Fans can even enjoy some of Mama Wallen’s own recipes, bringing a personal touch to the dining experience.
Merchandise and More
In addition to its food and entertainment offerings, “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” includes a gift shop stocked with exclusive Morgan Wallen merchandise. The shop also pays homage to Wallen’s favorite Tennessee team, providing fans with a comprehensive and immersive experience.
Record-Breaking Impact
The opening of “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” follows a record-setting weekend for Nashville’s hotel bookings, spurred by Wallen’s three-performance stint at Nissan Stadium. According to the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, 75,000 hotel rooms were sold from May 3 to May 4, the most in the city’s history.
Bringing Wallen's Vision to Life
Wallen, described by The New York Times as “the biggest country star of the 2020s — and one of the biggest stars in pop, period,” partnered with TC Restaurant Group to bring this vision to life. The venue is designed to offer an experience true to Wallen’s roots and his East Tennessee upbringing.
