DIAMOND-selling and ACM Award-winning country star Brett Young has unveiled a new acoustic rendition of his fourth studio album ‘Across The Sheets (Barefoot Edition),' now available via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. This album features stripped-down versions of all eight previously released tracks, including the chart-topping hit ‘Dance With You,' which achieved Young's highest week-one streaming numbers last year and has since amassed over 209 million streams, contributing to his impressive career total of more than 9.6 billion streams.
“Ever since Gavin DeGraw released ‘Stripped,' I’ve been a big fan of acoustic re-releases of albums. It’s my favorite way to highlight the storytelling that country music was built on,” says Young.
Young recently wrapped up a successful tour across the UK and Europe, culminating in a sold-out show in Belfast after headlining the Highways Festival at The Royal Albert Hall in London on May 18. This week, he announced an additional 16 dates for his 2024 North America tour, with tickets available now at brettyoungmusic.com.
In other exciting news, Young's #1 hit ‘In Case You Didn’t Know' was recently certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA), marking 10 million certified units in the U.S. This milestone makes it only the ninth country single to earn this prestigious honor in RIAA history.
Next on his agenda, Young will perform at the Ascend Amphitheater during CMA Fest for “Brett Young and Friends.” He will be joined by NEEDTOBREATHE, Restless Road, Shaylen, and special guests including Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, and Charles Kelley.
