The Script announce ‘Satellites’ headline UK and European tour

The Script has announced that they will embark on a UK and European arena tour in support of their forthcoming album ‘Satellites', released on 16th August 2024.

The new run will see the band kicking things off in Belfast on 13th November 2024 with the touring running through to 11th December 2024 in Italy. The announcement coincides with the band's new single ‘Both Ways', which is released today.

Band member Glen Power says, “‘Both Ways’ is high energy, and maybe not what people might expect from us. But we’re The Script, and now we have something to prove: that there is life and light after the darkness. It’s why we’re coming fast and strong with that one.”

The Script vowed to continue the band following the death of band member Mark Sheehan. For the new album ‘Satellites', the band has worked with Steve Robson and Wayne Hector.

Danny O'Donoghue explains, “The album cover is silhouettes of me, Glen and Ben Sargeant, our bassist, who's been with us from the beginning. Then we have a hooded silhouette, because the air of Mark is still there. He always will be, but it's also giving a tip of the hat to the future. It'll never be the same Script. We're just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and that’s to keep making more great music.”

‘Satellites’ is available to pre-order / pre-save now. The album is available as a limited edition hardback book CD, black vinyl and standard CD. The Script’s official artist store also offers a limited edition white vinyl, cassette and new merchandise.
