Chayce Beckham, the breakout country artist nominated for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year at this year’s CMT Music Awards for his PLATINUM hit single ’23,’ is gearing up to release his highly anticipated debut album ‘Bad For Me’ on Friday, April 5. Reflecting on the album, Beckham shares, “Once I finished recording this album and had time to live with it, I felt the title Bad For Me fit perfectly. It sums up a lot of my own faults.” He continues, “I like a lot of stuff that’s bad for me, even though it ends up being kryptonite but that’s all a part of being human. I am so proud of this record. I just hope there’s a song on this album that makes somebody feel something.”
Produced by Bart Butler (Jon Pardi, Midland, Warren Zeiders), ‘Bad For Me’ showcases Beckham’s soul-searching songwriting and his unique blend of dusky Western sonics and smouldering rock energy. Through a series of deeply personal stories, Beckham’s rustic vocals and authentic lyrics take centre stage, exploring themes of substance abuse, guilt, romantic remorse, and the inner struggle of self-improvement.
