Chayce Beckham channels the greats on new single ‘Ocean Blue’

Platinum-selling country artist Chayce Beckham is back with a powerful new single, ‘Ocean Blue,' marking his first release since his acclaimed debut album ‘Bad For Me' and the chart-topping hit '23.' Produced by Bart Butler, the song leans into classic country roots with layers of fiddle, steel guitar, and a steady rhythm that underscores its haunting story of heartbreak. Beckham’s delivery channels the storytelling spirit of icons like George Strait, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash, creating a track that feels timeless and deeply personal.

Written on his tour bus last fall with Brandon Kinney and John Pierce, Beckham describes ‘Ocean Blue' as one of his favourite songs he’s ever penned. “I love songs that sound like this, and I am very proud of how it came out and who I wrote it with,” he shared. The track paints heartbreak as an ocean storm, with memories crashing in waves of sadness that leave behind a new, deeper shade of blue.

The release comes as Beckham prepares to join Warren Zeiders on his Relapse, Lies & Betrayal tour this fall, following high-profile runs with Luke Bryan, Parker McCollum, and Tyler Hubbard. Named a 2025 Grand Ole Opry NextStage artist, Beckham is cementing his place as one of country’s most authentic and compelling new voices, with more new music promised in the months ahead.
