Listen to Cast’s guitar-driven new single ‘Faraway’

Cast has released new single ‘Faraway’, taken from their upcoming new album ‘Love is the Call’.

‘Faraway’ follows on from ‘Love You Like I Do’ and ‘Love is the Call’, and it’s a song that inspires an inner strength and the belief that many of lifeā€™s challenges can be overcome with a little time and determination.

Frontman John PowerĀ says,Ā ā€œā€˜Farawayā€™ is a classic pop song, all jangling guitars with an instant hook line and melody that lifts off from the word go. The song is about trying to find your voice in a world that doesnā€™t care or seem to want to listen.Ā Ā As the world turns into the shadows, the sun still burns so far away, and the dreams you keep until tomorrow, they sometimes feel so far away.ā€Ā

‘Love Is The Call’Ā is available to pre-order now. In addition to its digital release,Ā Castā€™sĀ official store offers a green vinyl with a signed print as well as a pink vinyl and a signed CD, whileĀ Rough TradeĀ offers a limited edition blue vinyl edition.Ā

CastĀ will celebrate the release ofĀ ‘Love Is The Call’Ā by embarking upon an extensive record store tour, which mixes intimate performances, album signing sessions and meet-and-greets. The albumā€™s impact will be heightened by bigger live plans asĀ 2024Ā unfolds: a full UK headline tour inĀ MarchĀ before they joinĀ Liam Gallagherā€™s ‘Definitely Maybe’ arena shows inĀ June –Ā a reunion afterĀ CastĀ were part of the bill duringĀ Oasisā€™sĀ iconicĀ KnebworthĀ shows inĀ 1996.
