Randall King unveils festive rendition of ‘Silent Night’ ahead of upcoming album release

In anticipation of his highly awaited sophomore album, ‘Into The Neon,’ slated for release on January 26, 2024, Warner Music Nashville’s Randall King is gifting fans a special holiday treat. Today, the Billboard-praised artist showcases his “sturdy baritone” in a spirited rendition of the timeless classic ‘Silent Night.’

Co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, the track infuses King’s distinctive low-pitched vocals with the lively chords of the mandolin and the resonant strum of a steel guitar. The result is an upbeat and refreshing take on the beloved holiday favourite. Check out King’s Spotify feed and you’ll find ‘Silent Night’ is part of a six track Christmas playlist from King that also includes classics like ‘Run Run Rudolph’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.’

“We ain’t silent on this night, it’s out now!” exclaimed King. “Early Christmas present from me to y’all!”

‘Into The Neon,’ also produced by King and Conrad, is a masterful fusion of influences from country icons and modern maestros who have shaped King’s unique sound. Drawing inspiration from the ’80s country twang of George Strait and Keith Whitley, as well as the pulsating Y2K-era rhythms of Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan, the album promises a musical journey through time.

King’s versatility shines through on the album, effortlessly transitioning from the toe-tapping waltz of ‘When My Baby’s In Boots’ to the poignant lament of ‘I Could Be That Rain.’ The songs are equally suited for slow dances under the starry night sky or lively line dancing at a local honky-tonk.

Having spent 2023 balancing studio time with a relentless tour schedule, King recently concluded his first-ever European tour, “Neon Overseas,” with sold-out shows in Cologne, Germany; London, England, and more. As the year draws to a close, King continues to captivate audiences, supporting Jon Pardi and Ian Munsick on select tour dates while headlining stops in Las Vegas, NV during NFR; Salt Lake City, UT, and more.
