Following on from the news of her new album ‘Tension’, Kylie Minogue has released the set’s lead single ‘Padam Padam’.
Produced by Lostboy (Griff, Anne-Marie, Tiesto), the song is a catchy pop gem with an infectious chorus and a heart-thumping electronic drum beat. You can listen to it below:
The music video, which goes live at 2pm BST and will be viewable at the top of this article, was filmed in L.A. and directed by Sophie Muller. The clip sees a powerful and otherworldly Kylie dressed head to toe in red, including a custom made Mugler catsuit with a dramatic sheer cape.
‘Tension’, the new studio album, will be released on 22nd September 2023. Kylie has worked with a number of producers on the album with seven of the tracks being produced and co-written with her long-time collaborators, Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell.
