First Time Flyers – Vicki, Jake, Poppy and Tim – have announced that they will release their next single, ‘Your Side of the Bed’, on 31st March 2023.
‘Your Side of the Bed’ stems from a personal and shared experience within the band. They quickly put pen to paper and with guitar in hand, it became the band’s first ballad and it will be their fourth single to be released.
The song uncovers the vulnerability you feel after leaving a relationship, knowing it was the right decision, but missing the comfort that place next to them once held for you and finding yourself searching to find anything that will bring you closer to them again.
In conversation with the band about the lyrics, they said, “We’ve found that the worse our personal life gets…the better the songs we end up writing”
The news comes as the band performs at C2C: Country to Country throughout the weekend. They’ve also announced their first headline show at The Grace in London on 16th May 2023. Tickets are on sale now at AXS.com.
