‘The Last of Us’ only has two episodes left to air in season 1 and the tension is set to be cranked to the next level with the release of episode 8, ‘When We Are in Need’.

Ahead of the new episode a trailer has been released (watch it at the top of this article) and a series of images, which you can view in our gallery below:
As usual there’s no official synopsis available for the episode but those who have played the game will recognise the new characters in the trailer. In Episode 8 Ellie (Bella Ramsey) is still caring for Joel (Pedro Pascal) and she’s trying to survive by hunting.
The trailer shows her meeting David (Scott Shepherd), the leader of a group of survivors. We don’t want to give too much away in case you don’t know what’s in store but suffice to say, David and his group are going to give Ellie plenty of trouble.
The show still very much seems to be following closely to the game and last week’s episode was a real treat as we got to see Ellie before she met Joel. The episode explored her friendship with Riley (Storm Reid), a friend and love interest who left Ellie to join the fireflies. During a night in an abandoned mall, the girls were attacked by an Infected and both were bitten.
‘The Last of Us’ airs at 2am Monday 6th March on Sky Atlantic and again at 9pm. It will also be available to stream on NOW following the 2am airing.
