‘The Last of Us’ concludes its first season with the arrival of episode 9 today in the US and tomorrow in the UK.
One of the standout new shows of the year (if not the best new show), ‘The Last of Us’ has already been renewed for a second season so we’ll have plenty more Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) to come. Ahead of the final episode, take a look at our image gallery:

In episode 8 of the show, Ellie fought to keep Joel alive while she herself stumbled into the middle of a group of survivors who had been eating their own people to survive. A tense face-off with the group’s leader David (Scott Shepherd) saw Ellie narrowly escape with her life and she reunited with Joel who is starting to recover from his injuries.
What trauma that Ellie’s ordeal will have on her remains to be seen but you can get a sneak peek at what’s to come in the season finale below:
In the short teaser it looks as if Joel and Ellie are barely surviving and the introduction of a pregnant woman, Anna Williams (Ashley Johnson), could complicate matters for them. While the odds most certainly seem to be stacked against our heroes, Ellie tells Joel that they have to finish what they started.
‘The Last of Us’ airs at 2am Monday 13th March on Sky Atlantic and again at 9pm. It will also be available to stream on NOW following the 2am airing.
