Here At Last to release debut EP ‘EP1’ in May

Rising UK boyband Here At Last will release its debut EP, ‘EP1’, on 26th May 2023 it has been announced.

The five-piece has unveiled single ‘Bloodshot’, which comes ahead of their headline show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Friday 17th February.

Speaking of the days ahead, Here At Last comment: ā€œWe donā€™t know what to even say about this week coming up, a new release that we all love and then the biggest headline show we have played as a band since we started. We have put so much work into this and weā€™re all blown away by what we have achieved so far. Now itā€™s time to enjoy every part of what is to come and we canā€™t wait to party with everyone next week!ā€

‘Bloodshot’ is the follow up to ‘Happy’ and ‘Tongue’, both of which have amassed an impressive amount of streams (over 6 million and over 1 million respectively). Discussing the new single the band shares:

“Bloodshot is a different twist to what we previously had released. Itā€™s about the obsession one has with someone or something, it has a Billie Eilish vibe to it which we love a lot also!ā€.

Despite being unsigned, their previous songs have received phenomenal support including from Spotify and Apple where they have been added to many playlists globally.

Here At Last will play dates at Manchester Club Academy on 24th February and Bristol The Exchange on 25th February. Both dates sold out in hours and followed four shows in Islington that sold out in minutes, at the O2 Academy2 in February 2022.

Currently living together in Reading, Here At Last, have made the leap from obscurity to one of the biggest bandā€™s on TikTok in just a couple of years. Zach (from London), Tommy (from Exeter), Pedro (from Portugal), James (from Bolton) and Ryan (from Wales) had all been sharing covers and videos online individually but had been discussing meeting to form a band, when lockdown hit.

With a huge leap of faith, and despite only being teenagers, they decided to move in together so they could give it their best shot. Paying the rent appeared to be another major hurdle, so the band appealed to their fans to find them jobs to keep their landlord happy and also started busking across the city.Ā

On top of the busking and TikTok, the band visit schools during the week, performing and educating students about the importance of mental health (tying in with charity Young Minds).
