Kenny Thomas has announced ‘The Brit-Soul Ascending’ Tour, his biggest UK theatre tour in over 20 years.
Taking place in November and December this year, the run will include a date at London’s Indigo at The O2 on Saturday 2nd December. The new tour follows Thomas’ headline performance at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in December 2022.
On the tour, Thomas said: “I couldn’t be more excited to bring everyone the Brit-Soul Ascending tour off the back of sellout run in April 2022. I’ll be performing with my full band and the show will include all my hits and fan favourites, plus new songs from my forthcoming album. See you at the front.”
In 2022 Thomas released two singles, picking up strong support from BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM and Mi-Soul. This year, Thomas is working on a career-spanning ‘Best Of’ album to coincide with his tour.
Thomas’ debut album ‘Voices’ sold more than 600,000 copies in the UK following its release in 1991. He’s had 8 Top 40 singles and 2 Top 10 records as well as picking up 2 x BRIT-Award Nominations for ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and ‘Best Newcomer’.
In late 2021, Thomas released his autobiography ‘Baring My Soul’.
