Kenny Thomas will embark on his biggest-ever UK tour in Autumn 2024 it has been announced.
‘The Outstanding Greatest Hits’ tour will see Thomas follow-up his already announced 2024 ‘HIM’ tour. The soul legend is currently in the midst of his latest tour, which is sold-out. For the 2024 autumn tour, Tomas will be joined by The Soul-String Collective and he’ll celebrate his greatest hits from throughout his career.
The shows in some of the countryās grandest theatres, including a date on Saturday 2nd November at the iconic London Palladium, will see Thomas backed by not only his all-star band, but The Soul-String Collective; the funkiest, most-soul infused string players in the UK.
This follows on from the recent release of ‘The Very Best of Kenny Thomas’ album on Chrysalis Records, which featured not only his 90s hits and fan favourites, but tracks from a forgotten album āHimā that was originally thought lost.
On the tour, Thomas says, “To be finally announcing this ‘Outstanding Greatest Hits’ tour in 2024 is something really exciting for me as itāll be the very first time these songs will have been performed live alongside an amazing live string section in some of the countryās most amazing venues including the London Palladium for a special hometown show.
The connection Iāve had with my amazing fans over the past 30 years is nothing short of incredible and itās been a shared journey, so I canāt wait to get out on the road with the band for what will be our biggest ever tour.”
āThe Outstanding Greatest Hits Tourā will begin in Birmingham Symphony Hall on 18th October, and will then call at Newcastle, Southend, Manchester, and the London Palladium, before the finale at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on 3rd November.
Supporting Thomas across the tour will be BRIT-nominated singer-songwriter Rumer. Sheāll be joined byĀ jazz-funk collective Redtenbacherās Funkestra.
