Walter Presents is bringing Swedish series ‘Top Dog’ to Channel 4 and All 4 next month.
The series stars Josefin Asplund, Alexej Manvelov and Jessica Grabowsky, and was created by Veronica Zacco, Molly Hartleb and Alexis Almström.
‘Top Dog’ follows an unlikely pairing as they undergo an ever-unpredictable hunt for the underworld’s worst criminals!
A mysterious disappearance makes two separate worlds collide, creating an extremely odd couple – the lawyer Emily and recently released convict Teddy. They have two opposing desires: She wants up. He wants out. She wants to secure her future. He wants to leave his old life behind. They are both forced to think again when they end up in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy, where the past catches up to them, dreams for the future are destroyed and nothing is what it seems.
To achieve her goal, Emily has to find Philip, the son of the firm’s most important client, who has been kidnapped. To leave his old life, Teddy must find Philip’s kidnapper. Their paths cross on their respective missions, which is the beginning of an unorthodox collaboration and a highly unusual friendship. Emily has the knowledge, resources, and a behind-the-scenes perspective on the finest of venues. While Teddy has the experience, muscles, and access to serious criminal players. Together, they become an unstoppable duo!
