The first trailer and poster have been released by Searchlight Pictures for upcoming rom-com ‘Rye Lane’.
Directed by Raine Allen-Miller, ‘Rye Lane’ stars Vivian Oparah (‘Class’, ‘The Rebel’) and David Jonsson (‘Industry’, ‘Deep State’).
Yas (Oparah) and Dom (David Jonsson), two twenty-somethings both reeling from bad break-ups, connect over the course of an eventful day in South London – helping each other deal with their nightmare exes, and potentially restoring their faith in romance.
‘Rye Lane’ is written by Nathan Bryon and Tom Melia. The film is produced by Yvonne Ibazebo and Damian Jones.
The film was developed with the assistance of BBC Film, and funded by Searchlight Pictures, BBC Film and the BFI (awarding National Lottery funding).
