The Walking Dead 10×05 What It Always Is preview

On the latest episode of The Walking Dead, Lydia (Cassady McClincy) found herself bullied for the actions of her mother and the Whisperers.

If you’re not up to date with The Walking Dead and like to avoid spoilers we suggest you don’t read any further.

The episode focused mainly on the Hilltop community. A fallen tree destroyed part of their outer walls and attracted plenty of walkers. The community came together to fight but plenty blamed the Whisperers for the tree coming down. Some took that anger out on Lydia and when she tried to stand up to the bullying it made things worse.

Lydia was attacked and badly beated. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) jumped in to save her but his actions ended up in the accidental death of Margo (Jerri Tubbs). Parts of the community called for Negan to be executed. The council voted but ended up tied and Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) decided to sleep on his deciding vote.

Elsewhere in the episode, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) found himself depressed and struggling after suffering so much loss. Michonne (Danai Gurira) talked him down off a cliff and offered her support. He thanked her and also surprised her with a passionate kiss.

At the end of the episode, Negan went missing from his cell. Meanwhile, Michonne headed off to Oceanside with Judith (Cailey Fleming) and Luke (Dan Fogler).
