This month sees Kylie Minogue take to the stage in the Glastonbury Legends slot and also the release of her latest hits package Step Back In Time: The Definitive Collection. We are at the midway point now, which means it’s M.
M is for Music’s Too Sad Without You. The final single to be lifted from Kylie’s Number 1 album Golden was this gorgeous duet with British singer/songwriter Jack Savoretti.

- Kylie and Jack were due to record a cover of Boney M’s Rivers Of Babylon for a film but upon meeting they decided to write something new instead
- Music’s Too Sad Without You was co-written by Kylie and Jack with Samuel Dixon who also produced the track and has worked with Adele, Sia, Paloma Faith and more
- Kylie surprised fans at Jack’s concert in Venice where they performed the track live. This recording later made it on to the track listing of Jack’s latest album Singing To Strangers
There’s only one other Kylie single beginning with the letter M and that’s the previously mentioned Made In Heaven which was the double a-side to Je Ne Sais Pas Porquoi but it never really had the full single treatment.
