Seemingly out of nowhere Netflix have just dropped the new trailer for Black Mirror season 5 which is due to air on 5th June.
Season 5 will continue to explore how technology is affecting all aspects of our lives and looking at the trailer it will definitely be focusing on the darker areas. In the trailer we see a man having a ‘Falling Down’ moment as he goes crazy about the amount of time people spend looking at their mobile phones and a young girl receiving advice from a social robot which potentially turns out to be evil.

We’ll also get to see Miley Cyrus, of all people, portraying a performer who’s “undergone a transformation in order to rise to a higher level of fame.”
This season will only have three episodes so hopefully, Netflix have gone for quality over quantity. The cast for season 5 will also include Anthony Mackie, Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Nicole Beharie and Angourie Rice.
The previous seasons of Black Mirror have got better with each outing and the revolutionary Bandersnatch will most certainly have Black Mirror fans chomping at the bit.
Black Mirror will air exclusively on Netflix.
