Danny McMahon is debuting the music video for his new single When I See You exclusively on EF Country today!

The track is taken from McMahon’s upcoming EP Boys Cry Too, out on 24th May 2019 via Puzzle Maker Records.

“Recording When I See You made me realise what I love most about being a musician and country artist – finding something real and authentic that others can relate to. With this video, I wanted to leave room for each individual to find their own interpretation and comfort and to hopefully allow my life to touch a piece of their experiences”

Talking about the single, McMahon explains “it was written by a songwriter called Dan Evans who wrote the song about his grandfather who had recently passed away. I remember getting a message from him saying he’d just played it to his family and that they were all in tears, at that point I realised we’d achieved the relevant emotional connection we were looking for.”

When I See You debuted at number 1 on the UK iTunes Country Charts and the video adds an extra emotional layer to it.

Over his career to date McMahon has supported the likes of Dylan Schneider and Charlie Worsham, and received support from Lyric Magazine, Think Country and BBC Introducing.
