Explore Yeadon Town Hall’s history at an open afternoon

On Saturday 13th April, Yeadon Town Hall will open its doors to the public for the first time since Yeadon Town Hall CIC took over management of the Grade II listed building.

There will be exhibition displays detailing future plans for the building, with a large projection screen in the main auditorium, so visitors can discover Yeadon Town Hall CIC’s plans for the restoration.

With live music in the auditorium and fun activities such as having a go on the sound and lighting desks, the Open Afternoon promises to be full of entertainment for the whole family.

The Yeadon Town Hall team will be on-hand throughout to answer any questions, along with a team of volunteers for those wishing to find out more about how to get involved. The main focus of the event will be to offer more information about Restoration 2020, Yeadon Town Hall’s fundraising campaign which is aiming to raise £100,000 to support the full refurbishment of the building.

Local people, businesses and organisations can get involved by purchasing a plaque as part of the Town Hall’s ‘Wall of Fame’, or through a variety of other sponsorship opportunities. Throughout the Open Afternoon visitors can discover the Yeadon Town Hall CIC’s vision for the building and what to expect from upcoming restoration works

Yeadon Town Hall opens its doors on Saturday 13th April from 12pm-4pm. Access is free and there is no booking required.
