Sandisk release ibi, their new smart photo manager

Nowadays with access to cameras on so many devices it’s easy to lose track of where your photos are actually stored. Are they on your phone, tablet, in a cloud somewhere or perhaps on a hard drive at home? Thinking about where mine are it’s definitely a combination of all of the above. Given how easy it is to take photos they have become a bit of a throwaway commodity when previously real photos you could hold in your hand were things to be treasured and shared.

You can check out what ibi can do in the video below:

This is where the ibi from Sandisk comes in. The idea behind ibi is to give you a single place to store all of your photos. Once set up the ibi app will automatically save any pictures to its own internal hard drive which at 2TB can hold around 500,000 photos. It can also grab your pictures from your cloud drive plus you can upload them via USB directly.

You can choose to share individual photos or entire sets with whomever you choose, but no one can access them uninvited, meaning you can keep your precious memories safe from prying eyes.

ibi comes complete with its own app which is available on both iOS and Android along with a desktop variant too. The apps make it easy to view, organise and share your entire library on the go with intuitive search functions and easy sharing options.
