Battlerite Royale is set to be released as a free-to-play game on Steam on February 19th. Battlerite Royale is a mash up of MOBA and Battle Royale style gameplay. If you want to get an idea of what the game has to offer you an check out our early access review by our very own Sara Boardman.

The launch coincides with a major update for the whole franchise called the BIG PATCH.
“After months of hard work we are now ready to reveal details about the BIG PATCH that will soon unveil a host of goodies for both Arena and Royale players,” said Johan Ilves, Marketing Director at Stunlock Studios. “We are also excited to deliver a brand new trailer in celebration of the upcoming Battlerite Royale free-to-play launch to give you taste of what’s to come!”
The BIG PATCH introduces the Battle Pass System which gives players the option to choose the free pass or upgrade to premium which will unlock more cosmetic items. In addition to the free-to-play launch there will also be 2 new maps, 3 new champions and the Legendary Adventure Pack 2 which is available as a DLC purchase.
