New eight-part documentary Australia With Julia Bradbury begins on ITV next week.
The series sees the much-loved presenter exploring the immense and enchanting charms of Australia. She will travel by propeller plane, helicopter, camel, golf buggy, bicycle, boats, 4x4s and and on foot during her epic journey.
“I’m travelling 12,000 kilometres to the four corners of Australia, taking some iconic road trips across this continent to take in the show-stopping sights, before heading off the beaten track to discover some of this country’s more hidden secrets,” says Julia.
In the first episode, Julia explores Sydney harbour before heading backstage at Sydney Opera House. At Bondi Beach she joins a beach patrol before heading off to a tattoo parlour to the stars, and as evening falls Julia joins Sydney’s drag queens for a memorable night.
Over the course of the series Julia will explore Australian family life as it is lived across the continent and her journey will take her to all four corners of the huge continent.
Her trek takes her through a spectrum of spectacular landscapes from rainforest to red desert, with unique wildlife encounters including meeting emus, platypus, koalas, bowerbirds, and green turtles.
Australia with Julia Bradbury kicks off at 8.30pm Thursday 14th February on ITV.
