Old Dominion continue to drop new music with the release of One Man Band.
The follow-up to Make it Sweet, whose music video arrived in October, One Man Band shows a more emotional and softer side of the band. Take a look at the video below:
āThe new music we are making is some of the most honest weāve ever written,ā lead singer Matthew Ramsey told People. āI canāt wait to hear what people think about this side of us. I donāt think our fans have heard us show the type of emotion that they will hear in One Man Band. Itās a straight-up love song with a certain desperation to it that seems to show up in quite a few of the other new songs we have yet to release. Itās going to be a great year!ā
Currently in the midst of their Make it Sweet Tour in the US, Old Dominion are expected to release their third studio album at some point this year. The collection will be the follow up to 2017’s Happy Endings, which spawned the hits No Such Thing as a Broken Heart, Written in the Sand and Hotel Key.
The band were in the UK at the end of 2018 and performed a sold-out headline show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. They previewed some new material then and fans are going to be very excited to hear more new music.
There’s no official release date for the new album yet but as soon as it’s announced, we’ll let you know.
